Welcome

I am a PhD student at the University of Birmingham, currently undergoing a two-year studentship with the European Southern Observatory in Santiago, Chile. This webpage showcases some basic information about myself and my research.

Research Topics

My work is centred on galaxy evolution and galaxies within clusters. In particular, I work on so-called "jellyfish galaxies" which are spectacular examples of galaxies undergoing Ram-Pressure stripping, a process in which the gas of an infalling galaxy is stripped away into extended tails and filaments. As part of the GASP collaboration I am using IFU observations from MUSE at the VLT to gain a better understanding of the processes involved in transforming these galaxies. Go to my research page to read more about this.
