Note: The experimental research and instrumental developments I carried out during my Phd and my young researcher's carreer since 1999 represent a considerable amount of work that cannot be publication material. Building inovative experiments from scratch with limited manpower is interesting but risky because time consuming and not always followed by acceptable results. It helped me developping many diffrent skills from optical designing, electronic trouble shooting, to data processing and physically interpretating of each set of results and parameters. At the upstream of big international consortia building huge instruments, this type of experimental work provides great inputs in the long run.
