I'm a European Southern Observatory Postdoctoral Fellow, hosted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

My main research interest is star formation and the interstellar medium in nearby galaxies. I have studied the connections between atomic gas, molecular gas, and star formation in bulgeless disk galaxies and galaxies with extended ultraviolet (XUV) disks. I am also interested in galaxy evolution, especially by secular processes. I use observations from radio to ultraviolet wavelengths to carry out my research.

I earned my B.S. in astronomy and physics from the University of Florida and my Ph.D. in astronomy from the Ohio State University. Before joining ESO, I was a Submillimeter Array fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
