Slit width

Enter the grating angle in degrees. You can enter a slit width (in arcsec, pixels, µm, nm or km/s) to know its projection on the CCD (or reverse).
µm = real slit width (the value you need to set when defining an exposure on the HP1000; min=114 max=1055);
pixels = slit width as projected on the CCD in pixels;
arcsec = slit width as projected on the CCD in arcsec;
nm = instrumental FWHM in nm;
km/s = instrumental sigma in km/s. In output, the instrumental sigma is computed at the center of the spectral range and at the blue and red edges.
