Proposed companion |
The orbital period is confirmed by detections in soft X-rays (Fiocchi2011). Fiocchi2011 suggested a high inclination angle of the binary system (> 80 deg). 4U 0513-40 shows large X-ray flux variations of more than a factor of 10 on time-scales of days to weeks (Maccarone2010). |
